Naomi Grabel
Director, Marketing and Creative Services, Carnegie Hall, New York , New York

Carnegie Hall

Naomi Grabel joined the Carnegie Hall senior staff as Director, Marketing and Creative Services, in January 2009. In this role, she oversees all concert and education program advertising, brand management, publications development, volunteer operations, and customer service for the world’s premier concert venue. 

Most recently, she served as Director, Marketing and Development, for Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia. In that capacity she led a major re-branding project for this national icon, managed an extensive ticketing operation, and launched the first-ever philanthropy program for Australia’s leading arts center. Prior to that tenure, she was the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Philadelphia’s new Kimmel Center.

Other professional experience includes serving as Managing Director of Philadelphia’s Wilma Theater; Marketing Director of South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, CA; and Director of Communications for Houston’s Alley Theater. She has served on peer review panels for the National Endowment of the Arts and the New Jersey State Arts Council, and was on the Executive Committees of the League of Resident Theatres and of the Greater Philadelphia Theatre Alliance.

Grabel presently serves on the board of directors of the League of Professional Theater Women and DOVA Inc. She has guest lectured at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Duke University, SMU, and USC. She is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama and the University of Pennsylvania.
