cultural tourism initiative (cti)

From 2000–2008, ABC/NY awarded more than $1.7 million in New York state re-grant funds and provided ongoing technical assistance to 93 partnerships statewide to support cultural tourism projects through the Cultural Tourism Initiative. ABC/NY estimates that these Cultural Tourism Initiatives, which took place in more than 50 different New York counties as well as all boroughs of the City, generated in excess of $45 million in spending.
