The volunteer leadership of New York’s arts organizations is essential to their success. The Arts & Business Council of New York has developed a menu of options:

• Training for current and prospective members of nonprofit arts boards (productivity, efficiency, fulfillment: how to maximize your board experience).
• Training for executive/senior staff of arts organizations (how to engage, motivate, and experience success with your board).
• Board recruitment (who is looking and what are they looking for).
• Board placement (assistance with matchmaking between interested volunteers and arts organizations in need).
